Always grateful to have a delicious and reasonably priced Asian restaurant near where I live. My go-to's are their spicy edamame, maki rolls, and curry fried rice. I recommend them all and am confident that other items on the menu are also delicious. I've never dined in but their interior seems cozy, and their staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place if you're craving Asian food in Evanston; their menu is vast and there are lots of options to choose from. Can't go wrong with any of them.

Had a dragon roll and a green curry with beef. Both were good. The hostess was very patient in explaining what's what, as I'm not an expert at sushi or Thai cuisine.

This was the first bad experience we've had here. We eat here about once a week and have always enjoyed it, which made this visit especially disappointing. We had to send our shrimp back because itwasn't deveined. Instead of apologizing or addressing the issue, our server repeatedly told us we could "just eat it." We had to ask multiple times before he finally agreed to have it remade. When it was time to pay, we took out cash for the bill and were planning to leave a tip. Before we even had the chance, the server asked, "Where is my tip?" We told him we were tipping, but he stormed off withoutbringing our to-go box or final receipt. We still walked over to hand him the tip because and asked for a box ourselves. Instead, he threw the cash back onto the table. We've always had great experiences here, so this was very surprising and disappointing. We hope management addresses this, as we'd like to continue supporting this restaurant.

Always good food here. I canβt understand why it isnβt always busy. The decor is cute. Nothing fancy. But who needs fancy when the food is reasonably priced, healthy and delicious. Waitstaff is patient and courteous. The waiter even warned me to be careful about the red peppers in my meal. I have had such bad experiences at several other Evanston restaurants lately, especially with poor, clueless servers, but whenever I go to Dozika, itβs always a satisfying pleasure. Today we dined in and brought a relative who also enjoyed his food. We also received complimentary green tea, the tea of welcome,. a special treat for Easter? There is a 10% discount for cash. With 2 appetizers, sushi and 2 dinners we came in below $70.
